Do you remember if there are spacing differences in the carb studs? Seems like there's a minor difference somewhere.

One can easily elongate the spacing using a rattail file. Place the later model gasket on the bottom of the spacer and mark what needs to be removed. It takes less than 15 minutes, by hand. There are two YF bolt spacings: 2 11/16 [early] or 2 15/16 [later; 1982?].

This is the one off the 300/6 I removed from the 1980 Flareside (Although I believe the engine is a 1985-1986). The number in the casting appears to be D9TE-9A5S9-HA. I'm not sure if these were only on Canadian trucks or not? I don't believe we ever got the feedback systems up here....if we did, I've never seen one, ever. I have however seen 300/6 trucks with EGR and without like this one. I'm not sure how they were divided up, but every one of the trucks I have found with this spacer were later 1985-1986 models.

ArdWrknTrk Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Awesome, thanks so much guys. they want a pretty penny for those nos ones on ebay Take a look at spacers for Jeeps. They have the proper 2 15/16 bolt spacing and a 1.75" bore. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cwa-53000616?rrec=true These come in different thicknesses and with one or two vacuum taps. For $11 it's hard to go wrong.
