swampedout Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 https://www.fiberwerx.com/collections/1980-1996-ford-f-150/products/1980-1996-ford-bronco-to-1st-gen-raptor-one-piece-conversion I am in no way affiliated with this company and this is not something I am personally interested in for my Ford but I thought someone might get a kick out of it. Let the weekend begin!
Gary Lewis Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 Other than the grille and headlights, I'm not seeing the similarity to a Raptor. The fenders seem to swoop way too much and, when looked at from the side, are ugly. And there's no bumper, just a serious over-bite. Sorry, not a fan.

If they could have got the styling to blend in with the old front end I would probably be more for it. its like the GT500 ram air hood that I keep looking at for our trucks it looks good from the front but from the drivers seat it has a huge raised back that just looks funky. Same with this, the curves are way to exaggerated and the front end looks like a serious over bite like you said.

Also second gen Raptor looks a little better There isnt over exaggerated curves but the front end still is just way too bulky for the vehicle.

Hey look, they melded a Raptor to a Nissan Murano....!
Gary Lewis Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 Hey look, they melded a Raptor to a Nissan Murano....! I used to own a Murano, and they are less bad looking than this thing. (Note that I didn't say "better looking". Neither can be far enough up on the scale to say that.) Looks more like a cartoon. Or, would that be a trucktoon?
Rusty_S85 Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 Hey look, they melded a Raptor to a Nissan Murano....! Yep, I messaged them on fb asking if there was any way they could make the front a little less exaggerated and fit the body lines of the truck a bit closer. I know they make these kits for off road racing but cmon the least they could do is make it fit the body lines and not stick out some 20 feet on each side of the body.
