IMG_9253.jpg.650f96a868a90c838135e761b9901070.jpgHello everyone, please allow me to introduce myself to this group of enthusiasts that most likely for the same reason as I did working on older Ford cars.

I am living in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and for that reason there are not that many restoration projects like mine ongoing in this country, as for many reasons, this size car is not the populair in Europe.

At this moment I come into the final stages of this rebuild, and as I have removed ECU etc from the electrical system, and want to make sure that I make the right choices. Car is running, almost everything is working, and in August I will continue with the final stages, and start to enjoy this beast.

Hope I can find the answers I am looking for, and if not in the site, I hope that members can assist me with the minor issue's I encounter.

Kind regards

Andre - Welcome! Glad you joined. :nabble_anim_handshake:

We have a members map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and would be happy to add you - with your permission.

Amsterdam! Been there several times. Beautiful city. Love the history, friendliness, and museums. We got out to see the tulips as well as the cheese markets. And, we were there on the Queen's Birthday, which we won't do again.

Nice looking truck! But I understand the problem of getting parts over there. We have members in the UK, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Australia, and New Zealand and they all struggle to get parts. It is much easier here in North America.

Speaking of the UK, we lived there for a while and I saw a number of US vehicles on the roads there, so understand at least one aspect of why they aren't so popular there - size. And then there's the cost of petrol over there, and these vehicles are anything BUT fuel efficient.

Anyway, WELCOME!

Hello and welcome Andre.

I’m in the UK and love Amsterdam and the Netherlands. We try to visit a couple of times a year, crossing over on the ferry from Newcastle.

I am always surprised by the number of American vehicles on Dutch roads every time I visit.

Great looking project you have there, we need more pics please!:nabble_smiley_happy:
