85lebaront2
Darth is an '86. Doesn't he have dual head pipes? I'm not a fan of rolled seam mufflers. My truck has a 14Ga. all welded 2 1/2" dual inlet muffler intended for a 455 international school bus. It is $86 from Walkers Commercial catalog. The spacing is right. All I had to do was weld flanges on it. Yes, but they are 2 1/2" and long with an H for the original single O2 sensor. I had to use them as the exhaust manifolds have different angles. Chad9
Matt*, I looked into this. There is a mandrel bent tailpipe available: AP 54755. It's under $15 on Rock Auto. I'd go with the bigger, better muffler. Walker 17785. You'd need their #35460 rubber hanger in the rear. 2 1/2" exhaust clamps are #35337. A hanger to fit the 7" diameter muffler would be #35502. If the stock head pipe doesn't reach there is an extension, #42596. Aftermarket parts often don't join in the same places as stock, because they wouldn't expect a garage to remove the bed or rear axle to get it to fit in. Hope this helps Thanks Jim! I am no stranger to the Rock Auto website.....
