BeagleRock
Hey gang I have a Haynes manual for 80-96 ford trucks &Broncos. I have a gray/white wire going to the new 2150 carburetor. I was running it some this afternoon and noticed the choke was cool to the touch. Checked with meter and 0 volts Help! The choke on the 7200VV was always hot. Guess I need a good schematic. I did disconnect a few wires. Thanks Randy
Gary Lewis
You have access to the 1981 EVTM and 1986 EVTM. Why not use them? And, as you will see on Page 12 of the '81 EVTM, what you are looking for is a white/black wire. It comes from the stator, or "S", connection on the alternator and gives about 7 volts to the choke. And I think that one is marked "6 volts". Right?
BeagleRock
Because I honestly don't know where to look for that info. Thanks though.
