Gary Lewis Posted May 15, 2019 Author Share Posted May 15, 2019 If I remember correctly "Dashpot" is related to the IAC control and primarily for automatics, but will effect emissions on a manual trans. It basically opens the IAC on a sudden throttle blip to prevent stalling, just like a mechanical dashpot does by delaying the throttle closing. That's cool! I've gotten started re-thinking the plans I've/we've laid in the Upgrades For Big Blue project thread, and to make it a bit more "evergreen" I added the spreadsheet I'm using for determining what wires go where to the ECU. That way any changes made in the spreadsheet will automagically show up in this post. And, I see that there are other things that need to change in the project thread. But, I'll get there.
