I happened to notice one of these beasts for sale over here on the opposite side of the continent a week or so ago. I remember seeing them every now and then 25-30 years ago, but I haven't seen one in the flesh in many years now. I think it would be a cool rig to own/restore if one had a use for such an animal.

Quite a price difference - $2800 with a turbo'd diesel vs $4500 for a 351W. But, both would take a lot of work and, therefore, money to put into shape. So, pick the one you like best.

Weak Canadian dollar takes a bit of the sting out of the gas powered truck, but still a little high given the condition.

Since that is $4500 CDN dollars, it's more like $3500 USD. Puts them a little bit closer in line. I think for hauling/towing anything I'd probably opt for the diesel;).
