Just signed on a few days ago and just found the time to introduce myself. Just picked up a 86 F250 XLT Lariat 4x4 460 4 speed. Odometer reads about 98000 and I believe it to not have rolled over yet due to the trucks condition. Its in original paint with one rust hole over a wheel well which I'm taking carew of this week. Hasen't been messed with too much, a really solid survivor. The 460 is pretty stock, the PO put on an aluminum intake new 4 barrel and removed some of the emissions system. The front end has been leveled up and thats about it. Looking forward to bringing her back to a quality show truck. Have already gotten some sound advice from members and thanks to all that keep this forum running so we can keep these blue ovals on the road. Have some pictures attached. PS bed cap on or off? It's a split decision among my circle. Thank You \ Brian DeeIMG_20200212_145405.jpg.67f443fcd4f906ef3d6dbf7b18d8fb6f.jpg

Brian - Welcome! Glad you joined. :nabble_anim_handshake:

All - Brian's probably the first person to be one the map before I asked. He actually emailed me after joining and asked to be on. As far as where he is, I'll just say he may know Jake and Elwood. :nabble_smiley_wink:

Nice blues Brothers reference. The prison where the movie starts is just a few miles from me. My other post has more pics of the truck, still figuring out how to post properly.

Thought you'd get it.

This forum, like most, isn't smart enough to read the camera position info in the metadata w/in the pic. So the best thing to do is to open the pic in a picture editing app and then save it. The app usually, but not always, re-orients the pic when it saves it.

I drove thru Chicago years ago and saw the bridge where they jump the cop car. Thats one of my dads favorite movies.

Welcome and more pics please!

I vote no bed cap unless you keep something valuable back there.

Keep it old school, let her breathe.
