1986 Flareside

Recommended Posts

I posted this truck a couple weeks ago when it was first listed on Ebay, and I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet. I really like this truck and would probably buy it if was closer to me. The truck is fairly well intact, and has original paint. 300/6 with a 4spd and factory tach and AC...it's a nice little unit imho. I realize there is no floor in the bed...but the fact that it still has the smog pump and there's still a belt on it says a lot...lol.

I'd clean it up, tune it up, and drive it just like it is.

I thought it looked familiar

Ahhh, yes, the imfamous "tailgate dents"...

Ever see the two tone in grey, very sharp..

I don't know that I've seen two tone grey on a Flareside, but I'm sure I've seen it on a Styleside.

I was looking at this one on Christopher Lott's IG page the other day. I really REALLY like grey and/or silver trucks. Don't get me wrong...I love blue too...lol, but I'd love to have a grey one. He mentioned that this one is Solid Smoke Grey (1986?). It is a gorgeous truck.

The color there (smoke gray) was the panel color, and a darker grey was the overall color..
