Things were still very basic in '71Â :) They came with 3.50:1 rears as well. In the pic above I pulled this 4x4 donor home with the 240 engine truck. It’s not a bad engine at all, but 300’s are plentiful and a bit stronger. You mostly notice it when hauling.
