1985 Bronco Posted January 3, 2018 Share Posted January 3, 2018 I bought another set of low back bucket seats the other day, now that I have two sets, I'll probably put them in the bronco in the spring, and replace the bench seat I have in the middle row. The red set is from a 78-79 that was being parted out, and the blue set is from the 1985 Bronco that I used to own. It was being parted out on craigslist, and I bought the seats and front bumper back. I can't find anyone who makes the right seat upholstery kits, everything out there is listed for 78-86, but all of the seat covers look like they were made for 78-79s. Technically they seat covers will fit, since the bucket seat frames and hardware did not change, but they just don't look quite right. Factory material can be very pricey, but when you want it . . . As for the link I supplied . .its worth investigating whether they would make something with your choice of material. I have called manufacturers before, bypassing the distributor and talking to the actual people. I've had mixed reviews doing this . .but again, f it is what you want . . . .
