NOS 1980 Chrome Shift Boot Trim for Carpet Floor

Recommended Posts

Shaun was probably the one talking about them. Don't know if he was looking for one. If I remember correctly he was looking for the boot they go one. But let's see what he says.....

And yes, I do believe they were 1980 only.

Ahh yes, maybe so. The topic sounds familiar...

I was just scrolling through some Ebay junk and when I came across it, I had a vague recollection that somebody was looking for one previously. You're probably right though...it might have been the rubber boot...they are getting REALLY hard to find for any year.

Thanks. These trim rings are all over Ebay, and have been for years. Why they're the easy part to find, I will never understand.

Below is what I'm looking for. I don't agree with the price for something that is an impulse buy and not a necessity, and since my offer was turned down, I let this one go.

I get it. I'm the same way with a lot of parts. Most of the time I just can't justify spending $100 on a NOS item or a $100 on a nice used piece when I know they're in trucks parked in the woods around here and I can have the parts for $10, or less. lol. The one exception to that rule is AC parts. Back in those days, it was very rare for a truck to have AC around here, so I can't get my hands on those parts locally, at any price.
