1986 Flareside Bend Oregon Area

Recommended Posts

Looks like it has a janky body lift, missing bed wood, or both. You can see all the way across to the opposite tire in the first pic. Bed is definitely leaning aft... but all fixable.

Ron, are you in the market for another flareside? I thought you were pretty well set in that department! Not that there is anything wrong with multiple trucks, I'm just curious what your needs are if you are looking...

Wait - I thought it was wrong if you DON'T have multiple trucks! What are you saying? Did I misunderstand the rules of the game? :nabble_anim_confused:

I was always the student of "A different truck per day of the week"

But the "anti-truck," she tries to keep me in balance.

I'm not sure who in this relationship is the "dark side"

But if something follows me home......

I specifically target 80's Flaresides/shotrbeds, 1977 Bronco, or a 1943-45 WC-57.

That would really throw her into a tailspin with the WC-57!

Gary, you wrote the rules of the game! :nabble_anim_rules:

I think it really should be that I "write", or maybe "re-write" the rules of the game. I bought the white '82 in order to learn about these trucks before getting Dad's truck. Then Rusty came along and $500 for a running 4wd truck was too good to pass up, although I didn't know that there were lots of problems lurking. So I bought Rusty and sold the '82, and then got Dad's truck soon thereafter. And about that time I was given the '50. Then a trip in Rusty pulling the boat convinced my wife I needed a new truck for long-distance towing. And the last event was Big Blue coming available, albeit in Florida, so he was added to the fleet and Rusty was sold.

So, that's how I went from having no pickups to having four in a very few years. :nabble_smiley_blush:
