Best of luck to you. There's the receiver, the wiring harness, the mic, the mic holder for bench seats, the mic holder for buckets, the antenna, and the splitter. Might be something I'm forgetting but that's the majority.

Yup, all those things. As shown below, and those illustrations will adorn the page as well as the part numbers.

Impressive!

I’d like to have one! If found I’m sure I wouldn’t pay as much as I think they would cost.

Tried to get a factory one for my Kawasaki Voyager, way too much for me!

Shaun - What am I missing? Documentation/Accessories/CB Radio.

Looks like everything is there.

The factory CB Radio is almost impossible to find. They were also offered on the late 70's Dentsides, but there are differences in the Microphones that make the 80-81 setup unique.

I recently saw the antenna setup come up on Ebay. I've also seen a few microphones. But never have I seen the complete setup, or any other related parts show up on Ebay. There was a guy on a Bronco forum (Ranger429?) who was pretty good at collecting them, but even he struggled to find them.

Thanks, Shaun.

I added this to the page: The 1981 Dealer Facts Book says this of the C.B. radio:

CB (40-channel) requires optional radio. (NA w/AM or AM/FM monaural or in California on models under 3855 kg. (8500 lbs) GVWR w/V8 engine); microphone-mounted controls; digital channel display; last channel or favorite five channel memory; direct access to channel 9; automatic scanner; incl. special antenna and chassis mounts under driver's seat (Also incl special Inst. Panel mtd. speaker w/Stereo radio options.

I can't find any pictures of it. It doesn't appear in the '81 Accessories catalog and I don't have an '80 Accessories catalog. Do you know of any pics? We could include them as well if we had them.

One of these days I need to send you my 1980 literature so you can scan it all in for the literature section. I still have all of it and it's some pretty good stuff.

The CB Microphone is shown in both the 1980 Accessories and Pickups brochures, but the photos are awful. There are a few photos on Google of the Dentside and Full Size Car setups under "Ford Factory CB Radio", but nothing from the Bullnose trucks. The parts are generally the same. I used to have pictures of the microphones and antenna on my old computer, but the files were not transferred and I don't even know where I put that computer.

I do however have the user manual for the 1980 40 Channel CB Radio (E0AF-19A016-AA) as well as the 1980 "quick start placard"(E0AF-18B977-A) that I assume was attached to the CB mic cable. I can send that with the literature as well so it is documented.

*EDIT* Just found a microphone on Ebay.

Shaun - I've saved the pics for that mike and will use them on the new page - until I get better ones.

And, speaking of that, I'd love to scan all of your lit and then return it to you. :nabble_smiley_good:

I did add the pics to the page @ Documentation/Accessories/CB Radio. They aren't great, but will suffice until we get better ones.

And, I sent you an email about the literature. Looking forward to getting it to scan in and post. Thanks!
