There is a video in the auction listing as well as pics. It sounds pretty good too. The 3500 RPM tach looks interesting...what is that out of? Yeah, I just thought it was nice since they kept the truck stock in appearance. I believe Chevy did offer the Blazer with the 6.2 diesel, at least briefly, didn't they? I seem to recall seeing a couple of those around. I'd rock it in a heartbeat, although I too would not be real keen on a C6 with 4:10 diffs...lol. Ford F834 Posted November 5, 2019 Share Posted November 5, 2019 I absolutely love this. It is a nice, clean install that looks about as stock as you can get. I agree with Gary though, that C6 and 4.10’s are not the best gears especially with the 15” wheels. That poor thing will be crying for mercy on the highway. The tach is from a medium duty F600/F700 diesel. There were a few versions for different applications, as they read flywheel teeth. I don’t know how they got this to read correctly on a 6.9, since the stock sender reads injection pump gear teeth and would be way off. They don’t show it working though, so it may not (work) or may read wrong. It does have a pretty good sound, I wish they had let us hear more of it, and less ZZ Top 🙄. I am curious what he did with the exhaust. I do see a muffler in the pics so it’s not the usual straight pipe that people like to do to these things. Hopefully I will get to make one of these (diesel Bronco). I would like to use the 6.9/ZF out of the Bricknose parts truck, and perhaps the 3.00 axles from the ‘81.
