salans7
Oh no doubt. Anybody have tips/suggestions on how to attach the inner window sweeps to the door panel? Ford used staples, should I do the same or is there another option?

And use a washer on the far end to spread the load.

Gary Lewis
So drill holes in the sweeps and the panels for the rivets? Yep. Clamp the sweep in place and drill a hole. Insert a rivet to align things and clamp it there. Then drill again.

Just walking through the briar patch.

Wanted to keep the stock sender, so I bought an adapter from McMaster-Carr. Went pretty good, for an ol’ cripple! Let’s see if the pictures will work! I've not used a tee like that for fear of not getting an accurate reading since the sender isn't in the flowing coolant. But maybe you can disprove that by using an infra-red thermometer on the thermostat housing and compare that to the gauge? Perhaps my worries have been for naught. salans7
Sure, I was planning on seeing what it does. Installed my door panel window sweeps and put the door panels back on so they're not laying around the shop. Still need to do something with the armrests, but that's for another day. Here's how Bricknose map pockets look with a Bullnose door panel. The map pockets originally had carpet on them, however since I'm running a vinyl floor I did not want carpet anywhere on the truck. As you can see there are a few holes scattered around the map pocket, as well as a thin line where the vinyl seems to have been stitched together. Even with those two features I still find it to be an acceptable alternative to the carpeted map pockets for those who wish to go without carpet.
