4x4 conversion is one of the things on my to do list.

Found this 6.9l 1986 F-250 with 4x4. He says it's driving and would sell it all for $700, has no title. Looks like I could snatch the front end out of it, the aux battery bracket, if the vent windows are good part those out etc.

Any other parts you think I should target?

I'm thinking this front end, my 300 six with a built 4x4 AOD, sell off his 4speed trans if it's a granny gear, sell my c6, and scrap what's left.

The F250 twin traction beam front end is leaf sprung, and a completely different animal than the F150 coil sprung axles. It is a screaming deal on parts, but I don’t think it has the ones you want.

Jonathan is right - the 4wd F250's front end is a mix of F150 and F350. It has the TTB of the 150 and the leaf springs of the 350. And, in my opinion, is the least desirable of front suspensions in these trucks as it has a poor ride and little articulation. There are fixes for the problem, but they are expensive. DAHIK. :nabble_smiley_blush:

If you want to convert an F150 2wd to 4wd you need to find another F150 or a Bronco. Their suspensions are basically bolt-in for yours. Installing the F250's front suspension and driveline would be difficult and I don't think you'd like the results.

Well crap, I'll see if I can get maybe his battery tray then.
