Thanks Gary! Now the next question - does anyone have one for sale or know of a solution so I can get the power steering back on? Thanks

How quickly do you need this part? I can look around and ask a few people if they have one.

Thank's Cory that would be great I'm doing the same thing over here to try and find one. Our bull nose's over here had Clevelands and that bracket is wrong as well and the late 80's one's had the 302 Windsor mainly with the serpentine belt and I don't want to go that way.

Many thanks to Cory who was able to source a power steering bracket and ship it to me from Canada to Australia to get the truck one step closer to running.

It arrived a few days ago and I've cleaned it up, painted it and fitted it to the truck.

Now it's time to move on to the next layer from the 6 cylinder to V8 conversion.

Well done, Cory!

Gary, I'm sure you've heard that saying that goes something like..."If you enjoy what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life", or something like that? To me it's the same kind of thing...if you enjoy doing a favor for somebody, then it really takes no effort at all.

I've gotten a lot out of the forum, so I'll return favors to the members whenever I am able to do so.

Darin, great picture! Glad it all worked out OK! Can't wait to see it all finished.

Cory - I understand. I, too, enjoy doing favors for others.

And it is especially fun to see someone's build from half a world away when that someone has been in your home.

Well guys all I can say is that I'm very thankful that Cory could help me with those parts because there is no way that I was going to be able to find them over here. As well as all the help and info that is provided on this forum - it is second to none. Gary, the efforts that you put into and bring to this forum is unbelievable.

On a side note, the hospitality Gary and his wife Janey have shown to us and many other people (both from around the country and across the globe) by opening their home and welcoming us, it's nice to know that there are still some kind and generous people in the world.
