Factory CB Radio Antenna

Recommended Posts

Cool! But then you'd need a NOS CB.

I once bought the Mic for pretty cheap, but finding the box, the seat bracket, the antenna, the splitter, and the wiring proved to be next to impossible so I sold it for a small profit and gave up on the idea of a factory CB.

Is CB still popular?

It only has to be popular to YOU and to whomever you wanna talk at. :nabble_smiley_good:

It'll always have longer range & more reliability on the highway than a radar detector. :nabble_smiley_wink:

And it doesn't rely on cell towers or monthly payments to work. :nabble_anim_claps:

IMO, no. Hardly hear anyone anymore. Took it out of the vehicles I had them in. Got a Ham license, pretty quiet there too.

Could be me. Had one in every vehicle I have DD since I was 16. I think I still have my old license somewhere for CB’s. Used to talk to truckers, friends and whoever. Great for traffic and “bear” reports.

Might put one in again someday. I have 4 or 5 plus a base unit.
