And fyi folks, a manual transmission bracket will work for both a manual and an auto, but an auto bracket won't work for a manual. One difference is that the manual bracket has a place for the assist spring to fit and the auto bracket doesn't. Also, I think the 1984 manual bracket has holes for the clutch switch while the auto doesn't, but I'm not sure on that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
