But everything was there? My fear of basket cases is that a critical part will be missing. And it sure is close to the door. How high can a vehicle be and miss the door if it is open? It was working when the business was sold, and I helped the owner move out. He was going to scrap the lift, but I took it as partial payment for helping. So enough is there for it to work - I just have to replace a couple of things. The lift will go to the top of the columns (~5.5') without hitting the door tracks. A vehicle would have to be all the way back to hit the door, which isn't likely given the length of the runways. The ceiling is nearly 16', so anything that fits through the 8' door can't touch the rafters. I haven't installed the ram or cables yet - it's just sitting on wood blocks right now. I went with 20a 110's and that let's me move my Century welder around anywhere. But I'd really like a heavier welder, and while I do have some 220v around, there might not be enough for a welder.
