Hello my name is David I've been a ford guy most of my life. Currently I own 2005 Ranger 2W, 4.0l, 1987 F-250 4x4 351w, and my present project 1987 B2 which I have transplanted a 1997 Ranger 4.0l EFI engine and transmission together. Now I struggle with the conversion wiring. A real challenge for a non wiring expert. I have reached out all over for help and get bits and pieces from time to time that are helpful. Most of the time I get say 100 views with no replys. Not complaining just didn't realize there were that many novices as myself which is ok we are all learning. THX David

Welcome, David! Glad you joined. :nabble_anim_handshake:

Where's home? I ask because we have a member's map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and I'd be happy to put you on. And, you might find that you are near one of us that could help.

As for your truck, is it the '87 Bronco II with a '97 engine & EFI that you are struggling with? Just want to make sure. If so, we might be able to help. Some of us have the 1987 EVTM and some have the '96 EVTM. So, assuming that the wiring didn't change 'tween '96 and '97 we might be able to help.

Or, we can lend our suggestions in any event.

I'm located in Arlington Washington. Gary thank you so much I need all the help I can get. I'm also learning as I tackle this project.I'm retired so I can take my time, and if I get frustrated take a couple days away then resume.

Boom, you are literally ON THE MAP!

Retired! Several of us are, and the others are jealous. :nabble_smiley_evil:

Frustration? YES! It happens and then it is time to walk away for a bit. Good plan, Stan. :nabble_smiley_good:

You should start a new thread in the main section about your project. And then tell us what issue you want to work on first.

I'm located in Arlington Washington.

That's a pretty area. We did a motorcycle trip in 2011, and coming down from British Columbia we turned east on Hwy 20 just north of where you are. That was quite a ride through there and into Winthrop WA. Very cool.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you've got a nice project there.

Hello Rembrant, yes the N/W is all so beautiful as you know coming from BC. I'm south of HIWAY20 about 30 miles @ Exit 206. I was born in Ferndale and lived in Blaine until I was 10 then moved to Seattle and grew up in the Ballard area of Seattle. I have made many many trips to BC and Albert beautiful country you have there. Thank You David
