1986F150Six
I believe Gary has a set of these. Notice that the mounting is wider and more heavy duty than the regular mirrors. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-OEM-FORD-TRUCK-VAN-OUTSIDE-MANUAL-MIRRORS-DRIVER-PASSENGER-SIDE/183782050165?hash=item2aca438975:g:c08AAOSwrOtZswlh Link to comment https://forum.garysgaragemahal.com/topic/2553-exterior-mirror-set-with-swing-out-extension-for-towing-nos/ Share on other sites
Dyn Blin
I have them on my short bed. I never thought I would use them when i got the truck, but I often do. Very handy. salans7
Those are weird to say the least. The lower mount is from who knows what, and the upper mount is awkward as well. I kinda doubt these are OEM. The quality just doesn't look to be there. Steve83
They might be NOS OE, but not for bullnoses. These are easily-identifiable by the 3 bolts per mounting pad. https://supermotors.net/getfile/895142/thumbnail/mirror2pos.jpg https://supermotors.net/getfile/544462/thumbnail/3boltmirror.jpg My guess is that those fit the older (?-79) dentside trucks. The upper arm is too straight, the mirrors would point towards the sky if they were mounted on a Dentside and the bottom bracket probably wouldn't even touch the door. The mirror heads are correct for 80-82 trucks and vans, but the rest is just wrong for the entire Ford pickup lineup, and even the Econoline. I'd be willing to guess that these are Ford heads on frames made for a completely different vehicle, but not even a Mazda or a Toyota of that era.
