86 short bed 4x4

Recommended Posts

For sale. Unfortunately too many projects and one needs to go.

I am the third owner. Shows 91k on odometer and backed up by CarFax sheet.

5.0 engine runs great. New cooling system, new alternator. Just put on stainless steel brake lines. Auto trans shifts strong and easily goes into 4wd.

Interior needs love but all pieces are there and I was able to find new dash pieces. Full new rubber set included as well as stainless steel bolt set and poly bushing set.

Bed has rust above wheel wells and some rust at bottom of front fenders. I have a rust free bed that was pulled off another 86 that needs some small body work that I will include as well. Just put on new Mickey Thompson Dedham 38 tires all around (not in pics)

Asking $3500 on this forum and a little more locally. A more than fair price because I hope someone finishes her up.

Cory, fly into Huntsville, AL, and we can drive to Knoxville! :nabble_smiley_whistling:

Ha! I scan the south all the time for trucks. I'm waiting until I see one that I absolutely must have (and of course I still need to finish the one I've got...lol).

I'm really diggin' the Bumpside Fords these days. I'd love to have one that's relatively original with the southern sun patina;). Next truck I buy is not getting all the "pretty" treatment!...lol.

I said that about my current truck. "It's not gonna be like my F150" and yet I keep buying and adding the same options I put on that truck. Darn Ebay and it's sometimes low pricing.

Yeah, I said that about Big Blue. And now I have the RSK stuff, the front receiver, and the step brackets to powder coat. And several parts under the hood to clean, if not powder coat. :nabble_smiley_sad:

Onion layers??? :nabble_smiley_thinking:

I think a bent frame, loose huck bolt, and hacked up crossmember are more than "layers". Maybe whole onions in and of themselves? Granted the frame weren't as big of problems as they first seemed, but the crossmember's "fix" has been in the making for at least two months.

So, is it time to eat a Bloomin' Onion? Or, at least an order of onion rings from Sonic? :nabble_smiley_evil:
