09wingates
Hi everyone. I am very excited to find a forum that is dedicated to the bullnose models! I have a 82 F100 Flareside with a 300 I6 and Clark 4 spd. This was my first truck when I turned 15 and was handed down from my grandad, to my uncle and then to me. I learned just about everything I know engine wise and how to turn a wrench by working on this pickup. Its been my baby over the years and now sits nice and cozy inside my garage while my 2012 F150 sits outside. I am a die hard Ford man and will be forever. Thanks for reading and look forward to learning more!
Gary Lewis
Welcome! Glad you found us! Where's home? I ask because we have a member's map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and I'd be more than happy to add you. You are welcome to post pics of your baby in this thread, but you may want to start a thread about your truck in the main section. More people will see it that way and we like to follow along, provide suggestions, encourage you, etc.

Gary Lewis
Home is Breckenridge Tx. Not too far from Abilene. You are on the map. And I know where Breckenridge is as our daughter went to ACU. What's the name of the "restaurant" in Albany? And I assume you've been to Harold's? We were there the day he sang the first time when coming back from heart surgery - if I remember correctly. The restaurant your referring to is probably the Bee Hive. I am not sure what Harolds is? Sorry we have only been here for about two years. All my wifes family is from this area. Harold's was a hole-in-the-wall BBQ place in Abilene. It made Joe Allen's look modern. Harold, the owner, loved to sing and frequently came out from the kitchen to do so. But many years ago he had a heart attack and spent quite some time recovering. We were fortunate to be there the day he came back to work. Unfortunately he apparently passed away several years ago and the place is closed, as explained here. That's why you've not heard of it, but I'll bet your wife's family has. I love those hole in the wall BBQ joints. Joe Allens is good eating as well. Since your the part guru Gary heres a question for you. Whats the part number or technical name for the panels that go under the dash in each corner right where your feet would rest? They are usually painted the same color as the dash and the driver side would be right next to the parking brake pedal. Mine are rotten pretty bad so I am on the hunt for a set. Anyone on here have them possibly?
