jstone4646
Adjusting the distributor to get the timing right on the 85, keys are in, truck is running...I put just a tad too much sideways force on the cap and the rotor smacks a post inside, truck dies. Silly me unsnaps the cap before turning the keys to the off position or pulling the battery cable. Went to pull the rotor button out and zap!....straight from my right hand across to my left elbow into the grill frame. Woke my butt up that's for sure. And I was an ET in the Navy....should have known better. Reminded myself to never be in a hurry.
Rembrant
Reminded myself to never be in a hurry. We need little reminders every now and then, even when we know better.

Steve83
...zap!....straight from my right hand across to my left elbow into the grill frame.Ha! You're nowhere near earning "stupid moment of the year" with THAT! You're going to have to try a LOT harder if you want the title.
