Ford F834
Another beautiful restoration is up for sale. Not inexpensive but very reasonable for what it is. https://austin.craigslist.org/cto/d/austin-1986-f150-4x4-lariat/6843748183.html
Gary Lewis
That is a beautiful truck! And, as I frequently say, you could not recreate it for that price.

salans7
Looks good! Is that a vinyl floor on an XLT Lariat? I like his style.
Gary Lewis
Is that a vinyl floor on an XLT Lariat? I like his style. Yes, I think it is. Been thinking about doing that on Big Blue if and when the time comes. Lots easier to clean up when you get in with muddy boots.
Rembrant
This is the truck that had the big winch bumper on it didn't it? He had that for sale a while back separately.
Rembrant
Is that a vinyl floor on an XLT Lariat? I like his style. Speaking of odd options on an XLT, I happened to notice this one on Ebay has all kinds of options, but still has only manual brakes. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-Ford-F-100-xlt/264240530653?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 Seems like an odd group of options to me, but I suppose that is the way they were back then. Ford F834
Yes, I think it is. Been thinking about doing that on Big Blue if and when the time comes. Lots easier to clean up when you get in with muddy boots. This is my main objection to rubber floors. AZ truck, frame still had factory paint but the floor pans were GONE. I suspect that accumulated dirt and window leaks were the other factors, but a rubber barrier that held in the moisture was the main reason this floor rotted. My crew cab had a leaky windshield and there is some rust from it, but the carpet and jute would dry out and there does not seem to be any serious damage. The idea of a rubber floor sounds appealing, but ultimately I think removeable mats in the foot areas are generally an easier way to catch and deal with mud. Back in the days when you were allowed to really build the truck you wanted, and not what Ford wanted to build. ;) 1980-1983 F100's were real oddballs, and so were the Custom/Base trim trucks.
