SanTanStan
Hello all! 1986 F-150 4x4. Just finished a rebuild of the 351W a few weeks ago. Shes all fresh! +.030, flat top pistons, RV Cam, and a Holley 650. I manage a tow yard in Phoenix, AZ and will have a rust free 4sp '85 Bronco up for sale soon as well! (Trust me, if the wifey would let me, it would already be in the garage:nabble_smiley_cry:) I am excited to join and see all of the trucks here as well as tap in to the vast knowledge of the interwebz!!! Ford F834
Welcome! I am also in Arizona (Golden Valley) and chose the historic plates for my β81 F150 as well. Do post your Bronco up if you go to sell it. I am casually looking for one. I donβt need it to run, but I need something original/close to stock and not abused. We are very fortunate with parts availability in our salvage yards here!
Rembrant
Welcome aboard Stan! And NICE truck! I'm in the very early stages of building a 4x4...can you tell me what size tires and rims you've got on that truck? I am so envious of your rust free Arizona sheetmetal you guys have no idea! The rims are 15x10 off of a 79ish jeep. (We are both lucky and unlucky in that our bolt pattern maches that of many older jeeps. The rims can be found, but it is not always easy! I ended up buying these (in rusty white, lol) from a guy off craigslist for $100). The tires are Wild Country 31x10.5's BTW, I'm Andy, not Stan Lol. It was a fun Gamertag that I made up when I lived in San Tan Valley and it just kind of stuck.

The only known issues are that 1 back window is broken, it is full of dirt and wild animal poo :-( as it sat out in the desert for some time without the window, and a 5.0 shares rockers an pushrods with a 351W and I may have borrowed 1 or two, Lol. I THINK the motor may be salvageable, but will most likely require a bit of work.

Suspension is all stock height. Last lifted truck I had cost me too many pairs of pants. Lol
