Diesels, yes. Low miles and all, but wow!
Gary Lewis
You are right - WOW! There's a remote chance that this is one of the CA-spec 460 trucks w/ EEC-V, MAF, SEFI, OBD-II, etc. But, not likely.
Rembrant
Never seen anyone ask this much for a gas engine of this era around here! Low miles and all, but wow! There was a guy asking $18,500 for an 81 2wd Flareside on Craigslist not all that long ago...lol. It was a clean one owner truck and had been kept inside, but it was nothing exceptional either. However...you never know, right? If you have time, might as well start high. I've sold vehicles for too little money before. When you post a for sale ad and people start calling within the hour wanting you to hold it and put a deposit on it, you know you've started too low...lol. BTDT. Just came back from the local Ford dealership, Their web site advertised two 2019 Rangers on the lot, (even had the VIN's) Took "OO-BGUB" the '86 out for a winter run (since no salt on the roads yet). Had the Sales manager and a sales man attack, looking it over very closely. Told them I wanted to look at the new Ranger, "not here yet, any day now" They were interested in what I would let the '86 go for. Told them 15K, scary part is neither one of them even blinked.....
