Bruno2
I have combed the web over looking for some 6208 2RS bearings that are made here in the US. Everything is an import now. They come from everywhere, but here. South Korea, China, India or you name it. Any brand that has been traditionally made here is no longer. Where do I source this stuff? Gary Lewis
Dare I ask what they are for? Not that I'm worried it isn't for a Bullnose, but to see if there's another number for them. And, did you get last night's text response?
Rembrant
As long as you buy name brand quality bearings, I wouldn't worry about where they're made. We service rotating equipment for the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry, and mostly use SKF bearings, but once in a while NSK. If they're "cups and cones" then we use Timken bearings. PS: I just checked our inventory, and I see we also have bearings from Nachi and AEC, but these were supplied by one of our US OEM's...not bearings we purchased ourselves. I have no idea where any of them are made these days...but SKF is basically our go-to bearing manufacturer.
