ETM
Hello, I'm ETM From Ontario, Canada, I drive an 1981 Ford F100 that is an One Owner Truck (Kind of two now if you add me) If it long forgoten that it was an F100, but it was an noodle Frame which has been replace as well as the bed is off an 1990-1996, Still looking for an stock bed. Life Long So Far Chevy Guy but this little ford has made me like them a bit more. She is really clean for where i live, Really Pissing of people for driving in the Snow and Salt, but it is a Truck and is meant to be driven. Plan on doing some small thing to make it nicer, like a Radio, and some wheels and Tires. Then going to get a Trailer Hitch to tow my car to the track. Hope you like this plain truck Thanks
Gary Lewis
Hello ETM! Glad you found us. I do like your truck. But, by "noodle frame" do you mean one with the holes in it, which is frequently called a "Swiss cheese" frame? That's the standard frame for an '80 or '81, and there wasn't a problem with them. However, those who don't understand physics complained, and Ford discontinued them for 1982. Speaking of 1982, your truck has an '82 or later grille. Not the 1980/81 grille. The later grilles had the Ford oval in the middle, like yours does. But the early ones didn't. Instead, they had a more regular egg crate and the FORD on the hood. Anyway, sounds like you are going to use the truck.

From Southern Ontario, Norfolk County. I live in the Rust Belt lost of Snow and Salt The Frames didn't seem to last, Vs the normal Full Frame. Have the OG grill the First owner liked the later Grill So he changed it out, Just haven't had the time to Swing but and get it from him. I believe that he wanted to make the truck look newer her has a bug thing on the front, but I can see that the hood is starting to get a bit rusty may need to get resprayed.
