1984 Bronco XLT [Candidate for highest asking price!!!]

Recommended Posts

Wow, that IS steep...

I've watched a few of those absolutely mint Bronco's sell on Ebay, and they were trending in the $13,000 to $13,500 USD range if I recall correctly. They were really nice examples as well.

I guess if you're not in a rush...start high, you never know.

Somebody in the UAE might snap that up and have it shipped...lol, who knows?

Oh my goodness!!!! $28,500!!!! I sure hope they get it.

I was going to add this to my watch list, but I see there's a "research list". Not sure what it is, but I added this one to my research list.

Man, if I had the money! What a beauty!

Gary, the watch list worked for me. Maybe they know you! You do some research, I think! :nabble_smiley_good:

Things appear to go off the Watch List on eBay after they sell. Maybe not immediately, but at some point. In fact, my watch list is now empty, although I've put a ton of things on it in the past.

But I'm hoping the Research List will be different, that it will keep everything that's been put on it and let you track what things have sold for.

Here's what's on mine at present. I guess we'll know what happens in a couple of days. If it works as I think we can keep track of the sale of some of the trucks we find and maybe create a trend. And, there's a way I can make my research list public, although at first blush only via a link rather than embed it.

We shall see.

Oh, that's really cool. I'll have to look into that.

Well, the '84 Bronco only got to $11,102 and that didn't meet the reserve. So it has been relisted but with 3 more pics, although I don't know which ones. And, this time there's no Buy It Now price.

But the '81 Flareside appears to have been sold for $4,999. At least that's the way I read it.

And, in "Research" it doesn't look like old items disappear. So, using that function we might be able to sorta kinda watch to see if the price of our trucks is increasing. However, that won't be easy as it is doubtful the same truck will be for sale again, so we will be comparing apples and oranges. And, as Dylan said, the times they are a changing, and along with that so is the stock market. And I think the rise/fall of the market may have something to do with the price of old trucks.
