scbill Posted December 11, 2018 Share Posted December 11, 2018 Clip came off circuit strip/sheet 4-40 allen head screw is a good fit head needs to be ground smaller so it will snap onto regulator I used a pice of scrap copper, not sure about reaction of a cad plated washer. Those clips are really hard to solder to, so the screw probably makes a very good contact w/o heating up the printed circuit and potentially damaging it. A pop-rivet might even be workable, if you can get a tiny one that doesn't spread much.
