Hey All,

I have a 1983 F100 XL long bed styleside 300 6 cyl, AOD trans, original paint, (some surface rust)

interior needs door panels, dash cover, otherwise all new by previous owner. I purchased for $750

rebuilt engine, some other odds and ends, total so far aprox, $1500 invested. A work in progress,

gearhead/car nut from my teen years, which was a very long time ago. BTW also own a 1961 E100 corner window pickup, purchased in 1972.

Thanks to Gary for approving me...looks like a lot of really good info here, hope maybe I can add a little to it as time goes by.

Welcome! :nabble_anim_handshake:

Most, if not all, of these trucks are a work in progress. Some of us, like me, move at a snail’s pace and others are really fast. But it is rare to be “done”.

However, take it easy on the “old” bit. I’m 71 and there’s at least on other that is older than I. 😉
