scbill Posted November 26, 2018 Share Posted November 26, 2018 Hey All, I have a 1983 F100 XL long bed styleside 300 6 cyl, AOD trans, original paint, (some surface rust) interior needs door panels, dash cover, otherwise all new by previous owner. I purchased for $750 rebuilt engine,some other odds and ends, total so far aprox, $1500 invested. A work in progress, gearhead/car nut from my teen years, which was a very long time ago. BTW also own a 1961 E100 corner window pickup, purchased in 1972. Thanks to Gary for approving me...looks like a lot of really good info here, hope maybe I can add a little to it as time goes by. Some of us, like me, move at a snail’s pace and others are really fast. But it is rare to be “done”. However, take it easy on the “old” bit.
