LARIAT 85
I was changing the faulty "BRAKE" warning light switch that is screwed into the brake proportioning valve, and the switch broke off. The plastic threads are still in the cavity. I tried everything I can think of, and I can't seem to get the broken piece out. Does anyone have any advice? grumpin
Did you try an easy out, or does that chew up the plastic? Step drill it until you can dig it out of there. That's a bummer.

Dyn Blin
Tried an easy-out, and that chewed up the plastic. "Step drill it?" What does that mean? One of these? I have an extra valve, (no switch to go with it). If you need it, drop me line via the email link and I'll send it your way.
grumpin
Tried an easy-out, and that chewed up the plastic. "Step drill it?" What does that mean? Start with a small drill bit, and keep getting bigger until you almost touch the threads. Then you can dig it out or try an easy out to get the remainder out of the threads. Steve83
I'd probably just try to tap it. That should clean the plastic out.
