Robbz28 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I’m sure this topic has been brought up before, but it seems nobody makes replacement inner fender liners for bullnoses, and there’s also several versions of them, but I have got to get something. I was wondering if anyone has tried 87 up liners? They’re fairly inexpensive. I know the wheel wells are shaped a little different and the holes might not line up but maybe they could be made to work? Appreciate any input. My current liners are dry crusty toast and the snap into pieces in your hand.
viven44 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I've done this before... I have a video on YouTube -- Search for Inner Fender Skirt Bullnose F150 F250 F350 Bronco 1980-1986. Used a Bricknose inner fender liner.. it isn't perfect but will do the job. I installed it under the existing worn fender liner. I've since started hoarding these inner fender liners. I have 2 spare sets now 😐 1
mat in tn Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I have been hoarding a few also. yet degradation still exists. however, these seem to be made of a better material than some. I had a grand Cherokee that the fender liners broke apart so easily that it seemed there was no elasticity in the plastic at all. yet my 81 f250 has strong fender liners. the fitment of the Brick nose to the bullnose will need a bit of trimming to make fit yet it can be done if needed. most of the bolt holes should line up yet a lot of the smalls (screws holes) will not. a simple drill solves that. the true fitment issue comes at the bumper area. the brick has the wrap around bumper and shorter fender where the bull has the tapered bumper with the fenders extending down behind them. the fender liners for the brick do not extend down past the point of folding forward to mount at the core support. leaving the lowest part of the fenders open. but you can trim a little and make one work.
BigBrother-84 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 LMC 49-8662 and 49-8663 . Not expansive and fit "correctly" although not perfectly. As too many repro parts... But I'm satisfied.

LMC shows it to be for the 87-96... so that is still a part that fits so-so.. It certainly does the job. Edited November 24 by viven44

Robbz28 Posted November 24 Author Posted November 24 Also whose bullnose has that support labeled as number 1 in that diagram. That looks like a 77-79 part.
BigBrother-84 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Well, difficult to take good pictures, but here's the best I can do. Dirty, I know...
