I started adding a ground wire for the antenna mount to a good chassis ground even if it had a good ground to begin with.
Ifitaintbroke
Wiring directly to the battery did not help even slightly. I'm probably going to order a noise filter. May do the capacitor too, but I need to figure out what I need and how to wire it. Electronics are not my thing.
Gary Lewis
It is difficult to say what you need. I did a search, which you can see here. You might get by with a packaged noise filter, but you may need a capacitor as well. Usually those are ceramic disks, but the value varies depending on what is causing the noise. So you need to get several and give them a try. And the capacitors go across the power leads near the CB.
Xr650jkallen
Could also be a bad diode in your alternator, but I would think you would hear that on your am/fm radio too.

I have narrowed down to the O² sensor cable.
