Bob - Welcome!  However, this isn't the place for posting that you are looking for a tailgate.  This is for introductions.

There's nothing that says you cannot announce that you are looking for a tailgate in the New Members Start Here folder.  But not everyone monitors this folder so the audience is limited.

Instead, please tell us about yourself and your truck. Like, where's home?  We have a map and can add you if you know the city/state or zip/postal code.

And for maximum visibility go post in Home/Marketplace Want To Buy and start a thread there about your tailgate.
