Rockhauler
I upgraded my exhaust on my 4.9 F150 years ago with a newer muffler and tailpipe from a junk yard truck. At the time didn't think to check what year the donor truck was and its now long gone to the crusher. Believe it was from a 87 to early 90's truck, so far I can't even find a picture online of the hanger let alone a part number. Paul
Gary Lewis
Paul - Go to our page on Documentation/Exhaust Systems and look at the Illustrations and then the 300 Six tabs. Find the base/group part number of the hanger you are looking for, then go to the Part Numbers tab and look that one up to get the whole part number. Gary the hanger is from a newer truck so a different style than the 80-86 so the number isn't in your documentation. I've had so much trouble with the old style hanger that mounted to the bracket on the back of the muffler. I found the newer style supports the exhaust much better. As a last resort will just fabricate one from flat bar and a piece of round stock. Paul

The parts list pages on the site include these parts.

I’m very interested in the findings of this thread. Is it still possible to source these hangers? I’ve always assumed no and just rigged up my own from Walker exhaust’s universal hangers

Thank Gary that worked for finding a part number E0TZ 5260-C. A google search from there led to a few eBay links with several similar style hangers. Paul Glad it helped. But a part with an E0TZ prefix was first installed in 1980. F0 would be 1990.
