1986F150Six Posted April 17 Share Posted April 17 Just changed the oil on my 460 truck today. I have the opposite problem. Dipstick reads full at 5.5 quarts. Vivek, did you happen to read this? I have a mental note now on where the dipstick needs to be when filled with 6 quarts. I do need to actually mark the dipstick though as you had recommended. I have given the benefit of doubt in the past to things like parking level, oil level when hot vs cold but I think its good to baseline it once and hold things to it.
