Found one of my old trucks

Ever wonder where any of your old trucks are? :nabble_anim_confused:

I recently sold my 1994 Flareside to a guy that lives about 75 miles away from me, and in doing so found out that he had quite a collection of vehicles. They're mostly all Fords, but there are a couple GM's mixed in. Anyway, he has my old 1980 Bullnose Flareside 4x4 (some of you on here may remember it...it was a Covid build...complete truck reassembly including a 1995 chassis swap). It now lives in a heated building on a battery tender with about 40 other vehicles lol. He bought it from the guy that I sold it to.

I didn't get a lot of pictures...it was tough because everything was packed so tight. There are 12 lifts in the building, and off the top of my head, there were 11 Mustangs, including 4 Foxbody GT's, an '09 Shelby (supercharged coyote), and '03 Cobra Terminator (also supercharged), a Saleen, a 1967 Fastback, and a '66 Notchback. He has a 1979 Bronco with a 460 in it, and another Bronco that might be a Brick, I'm not sure. Several new vehicles also...at least two new Bronco's with almost zero miles, a Ford Raptor, etc, etc.

Oh...and one more Bullnose as pictured. I think it's an F350 4x4 diesel. Did they have a solid front axle?

As soon as I walked in the door, my old 2-tone Bullnose was right in front of me!

Very cool! I've often wondered what happened to the Model A and Jeep that I sold. It would be fun to run into something like that!

And gas or diesel didn't make a difference in a solid axle, but all F-350s went to a solid axle, I think in 1986.

Yes, all F350 4x4's went to a solid axle in 86.

Anyway, that's cool, Cory! He has some really nice stuff. :nabble_smiley_good:

Ya Gary, he has a neat collection. Part of me would like to have a building full of vehicles, but part of me is perfectly happy with just one hobby vehicle to focus on lol.

While I'd like a building full of vehicles (and Lesley would say that I already have one... except for the building) I personally have no desire to collect vehicles that I won't use. I'd love to have a second (or third?) trail vehicle so I could choose which one to take, based on the trip. And I'd love to have a "winter beater" truck as well as a nice, rust free truck. And Id lie to have.... Oh, who am I kidding. I'd just like to have a building full of vehicles!

I'm not a vehicle collector, although I do have several vehicles & lots of parts. I prefer working on them or driving them to collecting them.

And seeing lots of vehicles on lifts implies they rarely, if ever, get driven. One thing I've learned is that vehicles don't keep forever. If not driven things tend to degrade and then, if you do decide to drive it, lots of things fail at once. (I don't have a good "here's why" on that, but it has happened to me more than once.)

Anyway, I'm impressed with all of those vehicles! Good for him!
