kramttocs
Scott, ha! Launch is a good term for the seat going forward! My pass. seat was wobbling around making noise and in general being annoying. I put some large area washers under the worn and hard rubber bushings. Took care of it. Now I need to find a suitable sub, couldn’t find any with part numbers available. The seats are comfy! Haha it'll scare you if you aren't expecting it to come forward that fast! And that stop cable better not fail Here is what I did for the bumpers: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1589626-bucket-seat-rubber-bumper.html (I wouldn't go out of my way to find Ford ones again but would just use normal hardware store ones)

Rembrant
Just got word via FB that this little peach arrived at the local Pick-N-Pull this afternoon. Fairly well intact too. Too bad I don't need anything from it...lol. I might go grab that padded steering wheel. '86 w/302 EFI and Auto trans. Interior looks really nice compared to how most of them arrive at the junkyards around here. http://forum.garysgaragemahal.com/file/n53723/90085038_10157908908026278_4719731512805687296_n.jpg http://forum.garysgaragemahal.com/file/n53723/90077452_10157908908191278_4405898849487421440_n.jpg http://forum.garysgaragemahal.com/file/n53723/90113825_10157908908431278_2292520836705288192_n.jpg http://forum.garysgaragemahal.com/file/n53723/90089820_10157908908591278_8557946667716837376_n.jpg http://forum.garysgaragemahal.com/file/n53723/90120524_10157908908766278_1797974654153916416_n.jpg So I went to junkyard this morning to see if I could get the padded steering wheel out of this old Bullnose. Somebody had been in there to remove the ignition housing and completely destroyed the steering wheel to remove it. Jackasses. Steering wheels are so easy to remove too...lol. Rembrant
That’s ridiculous! Sad really. I guy I used to work with would say “use a little finesse!” Haven’t posted in this thread in forever, but I also haven’t been to the junkyard in forever, so I thought I’d share some pics from while I was out scrounging for some much needed trinkets today. Check of this beast F350...broken right in two from being picked up... A rotten and rat infested Brick Bronco. Another rotten Bricknose but it did have a really nice interior. It gave up some park brake cable parts that I needed. Plus this aeronose F150...which shows you what 90’s frames look like around here in the off chance somebody catches them before they break in two LOL. Even the bumpers rust through, much less the sheet metal.
Gary Lewis
Gary, check out the exterior assist handles of the Crew Cab [1st photo]. Good eye, David! I missed them. Or at least "it" as we don't know what's on the other side.
