ReneH
Hi together, some days ago, my C6 starts leaking. I haven't moved the car. Some of you know my story... So it starts suddenly. As you see, I've mounted a completely new pan with lube locker seal and additionally a special silicone. So I can't imagine that the pan is leaking. It seems that it comes more from a higher point and drips on and runs around the pan. But I can't identify the source... Any tips about common leaks? 85pig
Shift shaft seal and dipstick tube are popular link points as well as the pan. I may be wrong, but aren't the Lubelocker gaskets supposed to go on dry?

See how clean the aluminum case is under it, compared to the case around it? The case under the shift linkages looks dry.

Is the tube easy to pull out? Only hold by the O-Ring?

Is the tube easy to pull out? Only hold by the O-Ring? There is an o-ring at the bottom and a stand-off towards the top, usually to one of the engine/transmission bolts. When the tube is out, check where the level marks sit with the dipstick in it.
