Gary Lewis
Nice truck. Not sure about the $15,900 price, but it does look to be straight and complete.

salans7
Yes, nice truck. That looks to have a pretty gnarly dent in the passenger door.
Gary Lewis
That looks to have a pretty gnarly dent in the passenger door. You are right. Missed that. Not worth the money as it would have to be painted.
81-F150-Explorer
You are right. Missed that. Not worth the money as it would have to be painted. I would replace that door. Wouldn't bother fixing or trying to fix that. My 1981 needs paint now too. For the minor sections I'll have some rattle cans made for touch-up in single stage. For a whole door, I'd get the paint gun out of moth balls, etc... If I was interested, I'd look at the price of the truck, then take the price of a new door, paint, labor etc off the price and see what the owner says etc... BigBrother-84
Guys, these seat pivot side covers were factory colored? Big Bro has black ones...
Gary Lewis
Guys, these seat pivot side covers were factory colored? Big Bro has black ones... That depends on trim level and year. I don't have the 1985 dealer's fact book online, but the '83 one shows that for regular cab trucks the base level got black seat pivot covers and the XL got color-keyed ones. Oddly enough, the Supercab base level got bright seat pivot covers.

I also have color keyed seat belts on the bench side, and black for the shoulder part. Explorers were an odd duck though.
