1985 Ford F-250 - 4x4 - V8

You are right. Missed that. Not worth the money as it would have to be painted.

I would replace that door. Wouldn't bother fixing or trying to fix that.

My 1981 needs paint now too. For the minor sections I'll have some rattle cans made for touch-up in single stage. For a whole door, I'd get the paint gun out of moth balls, etc...

If I was interested, I'd look at the price of the truck, then take the price of a new door, paint, labor etc off the price and see what the owner says etc...

Guys, these seat pivot side covers were factory colored?

Big Bro has black ones...

:nabble_anim_confused:

That depends on trim level and year. I don't have the 1985 dealer's fact book online, but the '83 one shows that for regular cab trucks the base level got black seat pivot covers and the XL got color-keyed ones.

Oddly enough, the Supercab base level got bright seat pivot covers.

My 1981 Custom Explorer has color keyed seat pivots as well.

I also have color keyed seat belts on the bench side, and black for the shoulder part. :nabble_smiley_what:

Explorers were an odd duck though.
