Bronco - Cylinder lock set

Petur

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

My name is Pétur(Peter) and I am from Iceland.

also new here :)

I´m looking for a Cylinder lock set for a Bronco, that includes the tailgate Cylinder. I preferer to have just one key for doors and tailgate not two or three with the ignition key.

this is the only link I have found that offers this set, but they don´t ship to Iceland. and I´m just wandering if any of you know if any other that is selling these.

Hi, Pétur! Glad you joined. :nabble_anim_handshake:

I don't know of a key set, but I'll bet the others do.

While we are waiting, would you like to be on our map? You can see it at Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu and we can add you with just a city or postal code - we aren't looking for exact addresses.

Speaking of cities, my wife and I've been to Reykjavik. We spent 2 1/2 days in your country a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Such a beautiful country with very interesting geography.

Hi, Gary

Thank you for this awesome website. it made my day ! maybe the whole year haha. love all the information and discussion.

Yes, I would love to be on the map ! the name of the town is Álftanes and the postal code is 225.

That's wonderful to hear. If you ever come back here, let me know, I could show you more around, highlands and the car community :)

We would love to take you up on that offer, Pétur. But at 75 years old our travels are getting fewer and farther between. We still have places we want to go, but most are places we've not been. But thanks.

Anyway, you are on the map. And we didn't get out your way. One day we did the Golden Circle and the other we explored Reykjavik.

Glad you like the site, but it is the team here that really make the place. Kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.

As for the car scene, it looks like it centers around your house! Wow, that's quite a list of vehicles. :nabble_smiley_good:

Pétur, I did some searching (Bronco Graveyard, LMC, CJPonyparts), they don't sell complete kits like the one you found.

The only complete kits I found are on eBay.

Even the brand (PYCL) doesn't offer this kit on their site (well I didn't find it).

I suggest you to contact directly National Part Depot (or PY) and see if they accept to ship you.

I live in Canada and sometimes was able to obtain a "special shipping service" from sellers who first declare on their site that they don't ship here.

Good luck!

Nice job on the part numbers Ralph. (I hope I have your name right)

One thing I’ll mention is that on my 92 Bronco there are two keys, but different functions, if that helps any, assuming the later years are the same as far as fit goes.

Square key is doors and ignition, round is rear window.
