Thanks Bill. Ok So I will wire it directly to the ignition key like shown on the schematic.

So it takes shape...

So this is my "small" M32 cable gland...

Here is my injection and O2 sensor distribution. Every injector has its own cable.

I have set the EEC realy outside beneath the fuel pump relay. It's easier to wire for me.

Looking good, Rene! That is really clean and organized. :nabble_anim_claps:

Very nice! Should be a huge improvement on the wiring.

Thanks!

Yesterday I have done a short night shift.

Grounding is important

Also found a new position for the coil

It also got GND, don't know if necessary, but it won't hurt anyway.

So, I'm back...here you'll see today's work...

My new fuse and relay box:

Fits 11 fuses and 6 relays.

One of Bill's connectors that I've got from him:

Is this the connector for the fuel pump inside the tank?

Rene' that 3 wire connector goes to the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor which was originally in the area behind your battery, near the solenoid valve collection. In 1987 Ford moved it to the top of the AC casing, in towards the wiper motor.

The yellow pair is part of the fuel pump(s) power circuit, if you look at the fuel delivery part of the 1986 EVTM on the site you should be able to find it.

I did find a later harness with the brown and green relay sockets, but I would just change to the standard Bosch cube relays as they are much easier to find both in Europe and here.

Hi Bill.

Thanks. I only want to show how I have modified the wires of the connector, you've send to me...:nabble_smiley_wink:

About the fuel pump power circuit connector...Thanks for the information.

And about the relays: I have also changed, as you have recommended me before. I will see for what I can use the other relays in the future. Currently I only connect two of six (fuel pump and EEC). I will also post next time for what I'll use the 11 fuses...

Tomorrow I will mount the shielded cable gland and route the shielded cable to the distributor.

Maybe I have first to mount my air filters to see how's the best way to route the cables from the sensors in the engine bay...

You are doing some very nice work on it! I am just glad I was able to help you with it.
