... connection. Pop the pin back in, reinstall the radio & Mission control, add a dash cover, add a gauge cluster with the fun C208A connector and speedo cable, lay the instrument bezel in and add the aftermarket & AFR gauges, wire up the clutch switch bypass (maybe adding a connector this time to make...

Time for an update. On Monday (this is Friday) I realized that the connection to power for the AFR gauge is up behind the instrument cluster. So I got the dash pretty well apart, including removing the AFR gauge and clutch bypass switch bezel from the instrument bezel. And I got the clutch...

... the camera system, mainly, which has a cutoff voltage 'cause it knows it'll pull the system down over time.) So I'm reluctant to add to it. And it is no fun wiring up under the dash in order to change power sources. The way I have power to the module wired with 1/4" male/female connectors, it...

Got the LEDs in & installed, and then the whole thing buttoned up - just in time to maybe take BB & the trailer to Stillwater with Steve/FoxFord33. So no pictures yet. But I also got the 1/2" wide black-on-clear tape for the Brother label maker, so will add a label like "Clutch switch bypass" on...

Glad Janey's project went well as mine isn't. But I guess three steps forward & one back is still progress. Step 1: Got the hole drilled in the dash bezel Step 2: Got the wire run through the bezel & dash & wired up in the box Step 3: Connected the pigtail to the clutch switch, which was...

... the spare push button switch, but have one already mounted on the bezel. And since the connector on that switch is so big it has to be the first thing through the hole, everything else had to cone out. Then I took the box to the truck and tried to run the mounted switch's lead to the box and...

Well, it is time for an update and to quit for the day 'cause two steps forward and three backwards ain't progress. Here's what I did: Plus 1: First, I drilled the holes in the AFR meter's bezel for the LED and the switch. That went well and I got the switch mounted, as you can see below...

... switch and the LED or just drill the bezel in place for the LED and the switch. Then I wired the relay board up to pull in a fender-style starter relay and it wouldn't do it. Turns out they apparently put the on-board LED in the on-board relay's coil circuit. And since I'd removed that LED the...

... the engine cranks/starts? If that is the case then what about a timer that gives you a set time, like 30 seconds or a minute, after each push? As for the lettering, "clutch safety switch bypass" might be too much but I won't know until I lay it out on CAD. The last pass of having that bezel printed wasn't as crisp as I'd hoped, but I'm guessing that in 7 years 3D printing might be a whole lot better.

Bob - I remember you discussing that, and I can see how it would help. And it would be easily done if I can find the right push-button switch and a good place to put it. Now, maybe this is serious overkill, but why not revise the bezel I made for fog lights to be something like "Clutch Switch...

Hasn't Deren bought a bunch of switch bezels from the Blue Truck guy there in the PNW? Isn't he a member here answering questions about some of his offerings? Maybe you should tag him about the possibility of creating a plug n play 610 to 3G harness?

..., which are cool as well, then no logo or your own logo would be best as there aren't that many places under the hood for the lights to recess into. So you'll have to coordinate lights and logos. And the tilt switch is a good idea, but you may want another switch as well. Big Blue's hood is open 90...
