  1. Been a while since I have been here. Life gets in the way sometimes and I purchased a small acreage which has absolutely taken over my time. Anyways, most of the manuals have been sold. Still have my trucks, but I have yet to make a proper work space here. I do have large format schematics for all the years and I purchased a large format scanner hoping to scan everything at some point. Looks like my retirement project. I hope everyone is doing well and I will check in from time to time. Ray
  2. Just dropping by to say hi. Have not exactly dropped off the face of the planet, but projects are shelved for a while as we are fixing up a small acreage and moving. Hope everyone is well and hope you had a great time at the Skiatook gathering this year.
  3. Reading through their site, it seems what they have done is put a Megasquirt ECU in an EECIV box and wired the connector to be compatible with OEM Ford wiring. I've wondered if something like this is practical and it seems it may be. Price tag is quite steep at $1500 USD. They can control the transmission as well which would save the cost of a Baumann controller or equivalant. Things have been on hold here for much of the last year, but I still like the idea of running OBDII. I really do need to fire up my Frankentruck and I am tempted to try using a 2000ish Triton ECU. Big plans and diminishing resources unfortunately.
  4. Found this over on that other forum. Pretty interesting for those of us running EECIV. http://www.stinger-performance.com/universalparts.html
  5. Don't believe I do. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
  6. Sure is. Facebook posting and it's a small enough town here that I probably know somebody who knows him. I'd be OK with facilitating whatever communication would be required. If it was an 82 to 86 grill, I'd be all over it.
  7. If anyone is interested, not mine, but I am local.
  8. I'm interested in the 1984 and 1985 wiring diagrams Ray. Pls let me know when available. Will do. I also still have 87 to 95 shop manuals and EVTM's available.
  9. Just adding a note here, Brad and Donald have dibs on the 81 and 85 manuals and that is all I have left. I do have the medium/heavy duty manuals if anyone is interested. I will be scanning my wiring diagram books in the coming weeks. These are PDF's and can be emailed. I will be sharing the Bullnose drawings with Gary and he can put them up on the site if he chooses. Thanks!
  10. Donald, Made it to the storage today and I still have the 85 manuals. Now, everything is quite a bit! It would include manuals for cars as well as medium/heavy duty trucks, Econolines, Ranger, etc. I also have emissions books which include all engines. Here is the list I made last fall. I would presume you are looking for the F150/250/350 shop manuals and EVTM? 11. Ray, If it's of any interest, I have the ability to do 11x17 scans/PDF's at work in b&w or color. Of course you'd have to send me the paperwork. I could do the PDF's for you and then send the hard copies back. I'm only interested in the 1984-1985 wiring currently since I'm going to have an EFI truck to rewire in the future;). Anyway, if you felt like shipping stuff we could work something out I'm sure. Thanks for the offer. I sure could use the help, but shipping these manuals becomes the problem. I found that even within Canada, shipping is very expensive. I am checking out our local food bank which allegedly got a government surplus printer and scanner that does it all. For a number of volunteer hours in trade, I may get access to this scanner for my project. Everybody wins!
  12. Well, I'm feeling inadequate today. Got a message from the fellow I sold the engine to out of my beloved war wagon. Going into a T bucket.
  13. Figured that I would add that the 86 models did not have a check engine light. Be sure to read codes from the ECM. And yes, that air intake is horrendous! Might be a sign of other "upgrades" the previous owner has attempted.
  14. I'm double checking on what is left within the next few days. I'll let you know! 15. Pretty much correct Gary. Almost -40C out here. Also been tied up in a local project that has been taking entirely too much time. Brad, I did get your email yesterday, check for a reply. And yes, I have a large collection of wiring diagrams that I hope to scan. They are on 11X17 sheets, (A3 paper), so I have been looking for a scanner suitable for this task. There is enough material here that taking it to the local print shop would be costly! These drawings are laid out somewhat differently than the EVTM's. Also, EVTM's really were not used till 1985 when EFI became a common option. Earlier documentation included all the electrical information in the shop manual. Here are a couple of photo's of the 86 manual to show you what I have. The F150/250/350 has 9 double sided A3 pages. I have wiring diagrams all years and models from 1980 through 1995. I have sold some sets of shop manuals, but I'm keeping the wiring diagram books. I also have some interesting emissions documentation on a year by year basis. At this point, I may still have 1 or 2 years of Bullnose manuals left, but I am unsure which years and it's a long cold trek through the snow to my storage to find out. Thank you everyone for the interest.
