  1. Hi all, im having a hard time finding interior trim for the crew cabs on these trucks. I am planning on looking at some extended cabs in the near future hoping that some on it will fit on my truck. I have the Dash and a pillar trim. Just looking for everything from there back. Last resort i wouldn't mind leaving it without the trim as i know some models only have the a pillar trim, just don't know how to make it look good. All advice is appreciated, still loving my giant piece of steel!
  2. Been a while again. Fixed my leak problem with the fuel line going to the carb, a basic fiberglass patch is doing well. Now I just need to replace a gasket on my front float bowl because that's leaking and I should be good to go. This truck is a whole lotta work that I was never prepared for
  3. Just checked them. They have plenty of line for 302 2bbls but nothing in terms of 4bbl 351s. The price isnt too bad either. Maybe i should research how to make my own then
  4. Thanks gary! those photos did help, i got it all back together but then managed to crossthread the fuel line fitting that goes into the inlet that threads into the carb..any idea where i can get a fuel line that goes from the fuel pump to the carb? Ive been looking around online and can find them for the older 351w engines but none for the bullnose era
  5. I will try to put it together best I can using the diagram but I dont know if I'll be able to get it. Would appreciate if you or someone else here could get a picture of it
  6. Well. Thank goodness I was able to find it. Been cleaning my garage looking for it. Still would like to know where I could find it online though and how it all goes together
  7. Yes. And I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Do you have any advice?
  8. This is everything taken off of it. The nut is slotted like the bolt
  9. I've just been busy with house work and such, no time to work on my truck. But i got the same diagram with the rebuild kit I ordered and I cant find the bolt on it. This is where the nut should go. With the rest of the linkage on the backside of the choke thermostat
  10. Been a while. But the truck was running great, and I decided to buy a rebuild kit for the carb. Well while rebuilding it I managed to drop a bolt and cant find it or what it could possibly be online. It looks like a smaller adjuster nut on the backside of the choke thermostat. Any help is appreciated, as all the carbs in the junkyard are always gone the moment they show up
  11. Finally had the chance to get under the truck and turn the engine over. Looks like the flex plate has some damaged teeth but no missing teeth. Either way looks like I'll be pulling a transmission now. Might as well purchase a rebuild kit while I have it out. Anyone have a good but not super expensive one online somewhere?
  12. Before I replaced the starter it had the same issue but it would catch the teeth and eventually start. Once I replaced the starter though it hasnt caught yet. Except once or twice since it's been replaced.
  13. No, don't blame the parts. As Gary's diagram shows, that's actually the starter RELAY. A solenoid would be ON the starter, but the solenoid style of starter wasn't used on Ford gas trucks until '92. Is it loose on the bellhousing? Is its rear face parallel to & hard against the shim plate between the block & bellhousing? Everything is tight and lined up correctly, still doing the exact same thing. I suppose next I will turn the engine over manually this weekend and see if there is any missing teeth on the flexwheel. And if there is...I suppose I'll be pulling a tranny. Never done that before!
  14. I dont have the old starter as it was used for the core but I compared both of them and they looked the same. Local parts shop said it was for a A/T. However I will pull the one I currently have installed and check the part number to make sure
